  • USDA/TEFAP Program

Ashure Ministry’s USDA Food Program is designed according to the USDA’s The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) guidelines.  This is a government program designed to provide monthly commodities to households experiencing food insecurity.

  • Hunger Prevention Program

Ashure Ministry’s Hunger Prevention Program is designed to provide food assistance for families experiencing food insecurity but who do not qualify for SNAP, TEFAP, or other assistance programs.

  • Student Hunger Prevention Program

Ashure Ministry’s Student Hunger Prevention Program is an additional food program available to Catawba County resident students and their families. This program covers grades K-12 in all school systems throughout Catawba County. The program is designed to help students and their families fight hunger so that they can be focused in the classroom on learning – not lunch.
