The moment you've been waiting for... here are the winners and final standings for the 2024 Ashure Ministry March Madness Challenge!

NC State and Carolina fought over the top spot most of the drive, but the Wolfpack managed to come out on top and take this year's championship! Congrats to State fans for being crowned the best fans with the biggest hearts! This is NC State's second championship in our challenge, and the Wolfpack become the first team to ever repeat as champs, winning in 2023 and 2024.  West Virginia had another strong showing, finishing 3rd, followed by The Field and Tennessee to round out the Top 5.

First Methodist in Conover won the church crown.  They were followed closely by Tri-City Baptist and Beth Eden Lutheran.  Tyson won our corporate championship being the top business who donated to our Challenge. Congratulations to these entities for their outstanding support!

Overall, we collected 42,221 pounds of food.  That is a new record for the challenge by quite a large margin.  The Challenge also brought in $12,541.00; a very solid showing.  The combination of food and dollars is well above any previous year.  So from the bottom of hearts; THANK YOU! It’s so much fun to see who's team will come out on top, but the real winners in this competition are our clients.  The food and funds brought in through this challenge will go a long way to helping those we serve in our community.  Way to go teams!  You ALL should feel like champions today!

Congratulations to the Wolfpack, your 2024 March Madness Challenge Champions!  Enjoy the bragging rights for this year; because there's no telling what will happen next year!  Thank you again for all you do for Ashure Ministry and the community we serve.
